My Heart Bleeds

Our nation awoke in rude shock 200 girls had been abducted, did this really happen? Why all these? Was this really happening? Oh! It is true, our security issue as a nation has deteriorated deeply to the level where 200 lives, precious, beautiful innocent, just- budding girls can be abducted under the auspice of the government of our nation Nigeria.
Not too long ago, `Nyanya blast’! This blast is still a nightmare we all hope to wake up from but now this. How do we quantify the depth of this atrocity carried out with utmost criminal gusto, clearly without fear of reprimand from the government?

Yes, this government ought to be asked to answer to her responsibility to the people of this nation, yes! Indeed what call has been made? What is the fate of these girls? Mr President please where are our girls? Because it is not possible for 200 lives to disappear into thin air without any trace.
We all watched as you graciously gave out your daughter in marriage

I think the questions in the minds and hearts of the parents of our precious girls are- Will we ever see our children again? Will we see them actualize their dreams as individuals? Oh! Will we ever have the honour of walking our daughters down the aisle?
Mr President you have the answers to all these questions and hopefully with proper and timely actions, the answers to the questions above can still be yes.
